His contract ended in June and he left the club, rather than we poached.

I think it's just a bit of fun because nobody will have heard of these people so it's largely just fans trusting that they'll be good and playing with some of the language

Exactly this. Good news seemingly but it’s packaged up in a way that makes little sense.

The video content is top as we’ve seen in the past few months but the written stuff is poor.

It would be a better piece if it listed some of the responsibilities of the new people. Just saying new job titles isn't that helpful, when we don't have a reference point or previous job holder to compare to

Yes that's what I'm saying. We don't have a reference point of a previous job holder to compare it to, so listing some of the responsibilities might help people understand what the roles are

Just a sentence of, "So and so will be responsible for XYZ" would add some colour to the bulletin. As it is, it's just a list of names, previous roles and new job titles
