You're fortunate. Dobson's abomination is above. Maguire (Sean Maguire?) was a boybandish type who was in Eastenders and had a few hits in the mid 90s. He's still acting. Last thing I remember him in was the godawful sci-fi fantasy sitcom Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, which was on BBC2 a few years back.

Didn't Letitia Dean and someone else from early Eastenders have a minor hit at some point? Some song from a plotline with them forming a band. Ian Beale on drums, I think.

Shatner was well respected as an actor at the time he took Kirk on tbh. He'd done all the classics.

There's a great quote from Nicholas Meyer, the director of Star Trek 2: "An actor is someone who pretends they are someone else. A movie star is someone who pretends someone else is them. William Shatner is a movie star."
