I have no idea Hank pet. I assume it is a minority but to "slag him off" this soon is madness although sadly indicative of modern football.

I watched our game yesterday with a West Ham fan who reckons if they lose today they will be relegated and thus need to fire their manager and appoint Sam...... utter madness.

The same Sam they hounded out? Deary, deary, me.

The man has been a breath of fresh air,I’m not unduly worried we lost against Burton. We have no divine right to win every time we play,it’s a tough old league and we are going to have to learn to scrap it out to get out of this division. We have a decent young manager who has overseen a lot of change-he’ll get it right. 100% behind him,the players and the regime;a bit of patience and supporters getting behind them all will go a long way.

We lost. Jack Ross is still the man, we've lost one game ffs. Still think we need to stay in touch with the pack until January then try to add more quality then.

This place has a lot of expert managers - it's amazing they haven't been snapped up by top clubs... ;)

f***ing mental, tactically better than any manager we have had for a long time. Over recent weeks made changes mid games to turn games around......Our failure to deal with basics like defending crosses from dead balls is not down to the manager, just rank poor defending by seasoned pros.

Flip side of the 'tactically better' argument is that we actually have players on the bench that can change games at the level were playing at, so making changes can actually have an impact at this level.

jury's out for me and this isn't being critical, I've not gone overboard with criticism nor with praise like many have. it's a big job and we've started well on the results front. despite the lack of goals from open play weve looked dreadful at the back, weak in too many areas and too often we're losing goals before we even begin to play. when we do play our game and were on our metal many sides can't live with us, it's up to the manager to get us to show that more often and from the start. if he doesn't he'll not be here long.
