didnt realise this draw had been made. obviously a lot of shite in as its the last 64 and the seedings prevents your top clashes from happening early on. Some noticable ties generated by those unseeded, the best IMO being:

Mervyn King V Dean Winstanley
Paul Nicholson V Co Stompe
Barney V Michael Smith
Kim Huybrechts V Scott Rand
Baxter V Priestley (rolling back the years )

I see Taylor is in a different half to Lewis and Van Gerwin, and i cant see past a final of Taylor v one of those.

current odds
http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/pdc-world-championship/pdc-world-championship/winner

starts a week on Friday (14th) and runs into early next year with the xmas break. love this tournament like - nowt better than sitting chilling at home with the darts on in the background.

I prefer the BBC version and the unrivalled spectacle of a 29 darter.

might put a sneaky bet on an outsider to make it a bit more interesting. dave chisnall at 28/1 - he has the game to do damage, and apparently plays really well on the floor (away from tv), but on tv he can crumble - he is a nervous fecker in is interviews like . he beat taylor last year, but then got hammered in his next match.

may put the odd match day accumulator on anarl.

Taylor won't get near the final.

Fancy Barney to do well mind

did you see him last week at the players championships marra? back to his best, just in time for the worlds  - cant stand the tw@t mind

haha, there are one or 2 decent players in there who would prob get to the lat 16 / QF of this tournament - your waites, kvists etc, a lot of shite anarl mind, but its just the general production, announcers, walk ons, pundits, even the f***ing lighting  that makes it so second tier to sky. i try to avoid it

Cracks under pressure now.......quarters at best

Last 4 of Taylor, Barney, RVG & Kim H.

Would love Barney to win it

not a bad shout that mate. the fourth quarter looks pretty weak like - dont fancy wade to do much so would expect huybrechts and newton to come out from there.

1st quarter - only hamilton could cause taylor problems in reaching the semi. again very weak

2nd quarter is much stronger with whitlock, rvb, anderson and chisnall all genuine contenders for that semi spot. rvb has a fairly difficult first game as well. this section is def the strongest and there will be a lot of good games to come out of it.

3rd quarter - again just going with the obvious, but you would expect a lewis V MVG QF.

taylor, chisnall, mvg and newton for me. taylor MVG final.

should be good.

hope these 2 are back this year

There was a phase last week where Whitlock was averaging 120 a leg and just banging the doubles in as if there were magnets on the board.

If he does that a bit more consistently he'll be a serious contender.

the adverts for this are coming thick and fast now like

19:10

Robert Thornton (1/5)

Magnus Caris (9/2)

21:00

Paul Nicholson (1/2)

that's the odds and schedule for when it starts on firday. not the best start to be fair , nicholson-stompe is the pick of the bunch, and should be fairly close. nicholson bang out of form recently

aye, you gotta love the sky production like - they make overweight oldish blokes hoying something into a board interesting. good presenters (quite like dave clarke), commentators, MCs, walk on girls, and of course the players themselves. great stuff. will hopefully catch most of it.

Might be worth a few quid with the way Lewis has been playing. Only best of 5 sets so potentially a chance of an upset if Lewis doesn't get going quickly.
