Has anyone reading this managed to do this recently?
I am trying to use some of the Google APIs and added a bank account in the billing section. This was successfully verified by them paying a random amount into it between 01 and 99p and me confirming that amount.
However they instantly "closed" the billing account due to a "verification problem"
They now say I need to send them a government approved photo-id to verify things.
Apart from the fact I don't trust Google with copies of my passport/driving licence this wouldn't help anyway - as that is my personal ID and address they would be getting and wouldn't match the business bank account details so still wouldn't verify anything.
I tried adding a debit card with the same results - debit card verified ok but billing account closed.
I can't now create a new billing account or delete the existing one I just get error OR-CBAT-08 which says I need to upload photo-id.
It's me trying to give them money, not the other way around!
