Paul Nixon

Apart from the BBC doesn't seem to be much on this even on leics website/twitter...although did notice on his own twitter he has put ex leics coach

Strange one. They're doing very well in the county championship but T20 has been very poor for them. I like him and I hope he does well wherever he ends up next. Something not right at Leicester
I also liked him

A few years ago they were up here and Pakistan had messed them about with Mo Abbas. As he came up from the field I asked him what was happening. He held up his hand and disappeared up the players steps. I assumed that was all I was going to get, but then about 10 mins later he came back out, sat down next me and told me all about it. In what other professional sport would that ever happen? I appreciated the time and trouble he took. I liked his irreverent approach as a player too. When he used to get completely involved with the crowd as an England player (T20 I think), it was obvious that the coaching staff didn't approve at all, but he did it anyway. He, at least, understood that the punters are really the most important thing in sport. Top man, Paul Nixon. I hope he's back in the game soon

I always thought that was an odd move for him. He clearly hoped to get more cricket, but if anything he ended up getting less. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence

I have no doubt he is a decent bloke but no idea how he has lasted as long in that job like.

A quick search of Nixon's twitter should give an idea about what type of bloke he is. Looks like he's heading down the road of Le Tissier.

Rumours seem to be that something bad he's said or done has come to light.

Noticed a few comments about an investigation ongoing so my immediate feeling was perhaps he’s gone down the Beardsley route of bullying players/young’uns.
