I don't think Colonel snr would take kindly to a hired hand coaching his son. Macintosh seems to be a natural, be reluctant to allow anyone to try to alter his technique😀

Agree. Thankless task when any talent you unearth gets poached by the bigger counties and I don't think there's a strong club structure in the area to help the scouting structure. Leicester members seem to appreciate that he is progressing the club and they're probably the best qualified to make that judgement.
I'd be happy to maintain the status quo coaching wise at Durham for the present. Killeen, Walker and Windows have been at the club throughout its 1st class history,must know what makes it tick.
