The ex-Mag striker, noticed he is listed as being from Murton (co durham), wondering if anyone knows if he was a Sunderland supporter as a lad or always a Mag?

Played for Springfield United in the late 80s Managed by a family member definitely a Sunderland fan.

Him and Marco should have been perfect combo at Derby but Kitson didnt seem interested half the time, he just came across as an arrogant prick, shame because he had bags of talent. They had their moments together when we thought they might click but not enough to get us back into the top league....then you lot beat us at Wembley which pretty much ended his time at Derby, a day i still feel aggrieved about

Hard as nails as a kid. I’m from Miurton he is a few years older than me. Quiet at school but people knew not to mess wiith him. Sometimes see him around and always says hello. So In my opinion not an arrogant prick at all.
