No brainer for me that he should run the show in some format. I do think we must split tests and ODI/T20 though. Completely different games and not many play all forms now. Test gaffer would have more time to get round the county circuit aswell.

Could he not be promoted to assistant?, he clearly has the right character to be involved in the England set-up and isn't Strauss a fan of him?
