Patto

There is categorically no chance that will happen roefs is superior in every element of goalkeeping. Sell and recoup a few million which will assist a bit with psr etc get young on bench problem solved
I’d probably have to agree,he’s some goalkeeper roefs and for 11m quid we payed him he worth 6 times that based on how good he looks

This would be a bad move by the club
Only if not replaced, he needs games. I’d be more inclined to sell if he wants to go but in no rush as I think he’s a very decent keeper and having a few local lads and lads from the championship promotion team is important imo. Very few keepers stop that Moore header, he’s every bit as responsible for our promotion as Watson and Mayenda.

Hardly.
His value is depreciating the more he doesn't play.
If he does well his value goes up.
If he bombs we lose nothing
Players that are returning to the Championship aren't going to be fetching big money anyway, not in PL terms. It's more important to us to have a competent back-up imo. However, if he's wanting to go then I imagine we'll let him.

Top championship sides to splash 10-15m fees and that’s the sort of valuation we might expect, possibly a bit lower.

Really ? I'm not sure anybody will be wanting to pay that for Patto, maybe for an up and coming striker. I think he'll eventually go for £4m or £5m. A loan might help his value but it's probably only a couple of million, so I would argue that we're better off keeping him if he's happy to stay, as we'd have to buy another one anyway.

I think we’d have been asking that kind of fee if we hadn’t been promoted but perhaps lower now. I think we’d still be hoping for 7.5 to 10 million though, certainly if the interest is from parachute payments clubs.
