I have every sympathy with players who live in a goldfish bowl and are constantly pestered in their private lives. However, I do think they should make an effort with fans, young ones in particular, before and after matches while in the vicinity of the stadium.

A few rumours online is a bit different to him getting a load of shit, especially if it's a bunch of kids wanting to meet an idol.

So one of the kids or even worse, daft parents asks him about the rumours - how does he react? I know people have a hair trigger when it comes to sticking the boot into footballers but surely this one isn't difficult to understand?

Don't know mate, maybe he ignores it, I don't know what any of the rumours are to be honest so I'd be disappointed if he just ignored my kids because some people online had said something.

He can press as much as he wants he’s knower near the level of our new keeper. Patto is a very good second choice keeper none the less!
 
What’s gonna happen with Patto do we think?

Seems he’s being an excellent professional but I don’t know if it’s good for his career essentially having a “season out”, that’s assuming Roefs stays fit of course.

Loan move in Jan perhaps if we can get someone else in?

Can’t see him ever getting in ahead of Roefs, unfortunately for him. He could definitely be a number one at a good Championship club though as he’s shown.
