Patto

Wouldn't drop him but he's got his flaws (as well as his strengths) but isn't showing any signs of improvement in his major weaknesses.
Haven't read the full 20 pages but the thing I don't get is what appears to be a lack of emotion/aggression/assertiveness or control over the defence in front of him as well as the many times he makes a poor attempt at a distribution. He can give the ball away with a simple pass attempt and just doesn't seem to react at all, no response to his error.

The other thing about coming and commanding his box...the one time he attempted it on Saturday was from a corner and he ran about 10 yards off his line through about half a dozen players and didn't really get anywhere near the ball. Seems to be a judgement/decision making issue.

Shot stopping is decent and he's saved his defenders a few times.

Subjective. I think for every one person with a preconceived opinion of Patterson who described that as a howler there were probably 3 or 4 that said it wasn't.
Subjective unless you look into it and see that chance made up 0.04 of their XG in that game.

Also there was only one keeper who earned there team points in that Burnley game, and it wasn't ours. Patto had one notable save to make.

If we swapped keepers with Burnley before the season started, we would be top and they'd be fighting for the playoff spots.

Fair point, I think Patto is closer to his level than he is the 2 I mentioned. Say 3 better than Patto in the league then
I’ll be honest outside of our games I don’t watch it like so I wouldn’t be able to comment

I honestly don’t think I’ve watched any game that doesn’t involve us in this league

One notable save to make? A blinder that meant we concede 0 instead of 1. Which meant we got 1 point instead on nil. Aside from that he did a great save diving amongst bodies stopping a tap in from a cross, caught everything catchable and punched everything clear that needed to be.

Fair play to Trafford performance but that's irrelevant.

20 page thread again, in no way at fault for either of the goals, after keeping 3 clean sheets in a row. This place man.
That Luke Edward’s was on look north taking the piss out of Sunderland fans for blaming Patterson. I mean he’s a completely clueless twat but on this occasion less clueless than the clowns on here

I thought he could have claimed it when O’Nien attempted a piss poor header into a piss poor area for their second.

He is tied to the post by invisible bungee cords.

An experienced keeps comes claims and lies on it for a minute. Kills the game.
How do you know O'Nein did not give the shout "my ball"?
