He's an average keeper for this level.

Shot stopping is quality most of the time but does push the odd shot straight back into the danger he should be pushing away.

Rest of his game is lacking, can't command his box , doesn't like claiming a cross, distribution is absolutely woeful. Can't jump judging by that second goal for them last night.

Objectively, he’s a decent Championship keeper who’s kept us in games at times this season. Frustratingly, his distribution can be poor & he seems to have more fear of crosses than Dracula. If/when we go up, you’d think we’d need to get a keeper upgrade. Subjectively, he’s a Poundland Pickford

He's cost us as much, if not more, than he's gained us for me.

You could argue that the difference in quality of keeper is what will make the differences between us, Burnley & Sheff come the end of the season.

Meslier has -0.2, which probably goes to show just how good this Leeds team are compared to the rest.

I thought he looked good last night (his kicking aside) and there’s always fault picking and over reaction when we lose a game.

Leeds first goal was a superb delivery and I’ve watched it again and can’t see where Patterson was at fault. The second goal if there’s fault it’s certainly not Patterson alone that any fingers should be pointed at. Salis gets nowhere near enough distance on his header from the original ball in, then Le Fee fails to stop their player coasting passed him to fire in the second cross. Patterson misses the ball but who was marking the player that gets his head on it ?

I say it time and time again, people don’t watch other keepers, the mistakes they make and the goals they concede.
To many stuck in a different era when tactics were different, the ball moved differently and there was less chance physical contact in the box.
He’s no different to other keepers, he has his strengths and weaknesses
Finally just remember there are not many 0-0 draws these days … there is a reason for that
