As I said on another thread, I really don’t see why we need phases at all. A modern ticket system can surely handle everyone applying by a deadline date and then just allocating them in order of priority. We used to be able to do this with the old paper vouchers without a fancy computer system and it should be easy to do now.
Wasn't it something to do with new legislation around storing card details that they had to scrap that? It's what they claimed anyhoo
That’s a silly idea , I get 1 point for travelling 8 hours to Plymouth and £150 lighter….. and someone jumps on the metro and buys a couple of cokes to watch it in Quinn’s bar.If we are selling out every away. Why dont the club give a loyalty point if you go to the beamback.
You could scan your ticket on the way in, BCP point is allocated for being there. It then gives people a chance on lower points to build up there BCP.
You actually have to spend money and make an effort to be there.
Any chance I can have a plastic card with my thumb print on?There seems to be a lot of people with high points getting away tickets and passing them on.
I went to watch Ferencvaros in Hungary a couple of years ago and to obtain a ticket you have to be a member, it’s easy enough to do,you turn up at the ticket office, fill in the form and they scan your thumb print. ( costs about 50p) and you can buy a match ticket at the same time.
Then everytime you buy a ticket it has your seat number on, but you need your membership card to gain access using your thumb print, therefore you can’t pass your ticket on.. it was set up to stop away fans from entering the home end and people with bans gaining entry…. Great idea.

I wouldn’t be against getting say 0.5 points for a beam back, but the same as the actual match doesn’t seem right imoIf we are selling out every away. Why dont the club give a loyalty point if you go to the beamback.

If you want to build up BCP as a season ticket holder, there’s loads of opportunities. If we are selling out every away. Why dont the club give a loyalty point if you go to the beamback.

Chelsea (or they used to, dunno if they still do) had a system where you got more points for lower demand games.
So for us, you might get 1 point for Boro, but then 5 for Plymouth
the old system i think was better than the current one mind. you commit to paying for a ticket. if you get one happy days if not here's a point. the only time you didn't get a point with no ticket was for the mags away (due to sheer volume of applications).Under the old system, you got a point for applying even if you didn't get a ticket.
They could reintroduce a similar system which would eliminate all the issues around large point drop offs
Daft once you get into that sort of territory.Chelsea (or they used to, dunno if they still do) had a system where you got more points for lower demand games.

I was thinking along these lines.Non season ticket holders should be able to accumulate points and be in the same phases as STH imo.
However, a point should be given for every game attended, whether home or away. Make it so that home points are only applied when the ticket is used and it might also help get more bums on seats for those winter Midweek games when crowds are 5k down through season tickets not being used.
I was at Plymouth & Cardiff, it was a suggestion to appease the people who seem to think they cant build up BCP's.That’s a silly idea , I get 1 point for travelling 8 hours to Plymouth and £150 lighter….. and someone jumps on the metro and buys a couple of cokes to watch it in Quinn’s bar.
I’m sorry you can’t be just giving loyalty points out for fuck all.
Same with the lasses game , what a shambles that was
Aye then I'd buy one and then just sell all the ones I can't get toaway season tickets anyone ??

there was also the away ticket season voucher (v62 from memory). completely removed the chew on with doing each application. that's one advantage with applying through the branches. no f***ing on with the website.
