Just experimented with a mental-wide pan myself

Moving the lens shock horror Longer lens though, so not too bad on the distortion

One tip if using Photoshop stitching, the auto stretches the horizontal out for no apparent reason - stick to reposition if that works

Photoshop (cs4 and beyond I think) stitching either works as well as ptgui, or not at all I have found

Give Hugin a go. Works on macs too.

Will it plug in to shop?

Shop is very good for 95% of my stuff tbh

But then I'm stitching from 2 perfectly matching images, so a lot easier
