Stokes has said they've raked the pitch, and that from that they can tell which spinner will be operate from each end....so obviously they've raked the pitch outside off stump line :lol: :lol: it's a bat first and bat long job

No you not your clearly one to slag off your own team or players as much as possible.

I reckon 95% of your posts have been slagging either the team off or individuals off over the last few months and 5% praising them despite us winning 6 out of last 8 tests.

Calling players pricks, useless etc etc.

Including this team is ‘ f***ing full of morons’ despite it been very successful and winning lots of tests

Throwing personal abuse at Duckett and Pope etc

I would rather support my own country and look at the positives

Not quite. We have a genuine fast bowling all rounder in Stokes which is massive and allows us the luxury of a leggie imo.

They are playing only 2 spinners and rely on some of their batters to fill the gaps of spin. We are playing 3 spinners and have Root to fill in if needed.

We are miles ahead of their bowling unit atm. Take our catches and the batting should take care of itself imo, 1st innings anyway.

I can't see anything other than a spanking tbh. The only chance they have is to win the toss and try and replicate last week. Shame for them, the pitch is brand new and is normally a batters paradise. So even if it's a heads at toss and we are bowling 1st, we'll be fine.

I'm fully expecting his arms to be size of Akinfenwa tomorrow. Got to be to range hitting better than Stokes and Brook :lol:

Albeit he's already shown in his career he likes to score fast. Sure his maiden century was at a better than a run a ball.

People have been talking about his batting ever since he 1st broke through.

I haven't really seen it yet mind. Apart from a county 1day game but it certainly wasn't range hitting.

Like you said, he must have some muscles to be beating the likes of Stokes and Brook in a 6 hitting contest.

Can think of David Willey and Archer as two other examples who efforts with the bat haven't appeared in an England shirt.

Rehan defs been thrust into daft place batting him at 3 for England mind, the talent there just a bit of the exburance of youth/inexperience so far for England.

I defs reckon we will see better from him down the line, they reckoned he'd end up a better batsman than bowler. His brother looks a top bowler mind, surprised they didn't bring him along last minute like they did Rehan.

Willey was a massive let down guy should have batted top 6 for England and could/should have pushed test ambitions.

Archer utterly horrendous yet can absolutely whack it in the IPL and a smattering of FC 50s for Sussex.

Here is an almighty blow from Leach in the six hitting competition also

Aye, I know what you mean about Archer and Willey.

Rehan has got time on his hands, and stuff like this, range hitting etc will definitely add to his batting.

Is that Farhan his younger brother who finger spins it?Done okay this season. He looks better out of the 2 to me.

He's done more than ok. Rehan got picked for England off 9 division two wickets and a FC century.

Farhan only 16 and he's got 25 FC wickets at 23 from 7 innings. Including a 10fer against Surrey and 3fer against Sri Lanka(on FC debut).
