Still can't believe we lost that. Why did they go for the single? It was never on and there were still 5 balls left! Anyway you can't blame the last two batsmen too much. Top order cost us, only Hales was unlucky the other two played daft shots.

Its always the same story sadly, as soon as the pace disappears out of a pitch we look clueless and just hack ourselves out time after time. We need to play much more sensible cricket - sure it’s great when it works on flat pitches like the other day but you need a second string to your bow and recognise when not to play those innings too. Their openers did a great job for the first 13-14 overs of setting a platform, which is what is needed on a slow pitch.

Sad thing is, if we bat first on that we wouldn’t have even set 120.
 
Good game, Topley didn't have a good end to either innings, last ball went for six and a suicidal run. Small margins
 
I thought Richard Thompson was one of the good guys but having read this I'm not so sure.
