It also struck me how Ollie pope and Crawley have missed out on these chances for white ball squads when I think they’d be brilliant. Guess they are protecting them

I’ve had Crawley as my long term Jason Roy replacement in the 50 over stuff for a while
 
That was a really efficient performance. Alex Hales was very good, so too Brooks. I thought Pakistan’s bowlers were pretty poor, today.

Not convinced he will play like

He gets stick but Bess is probs the next best if you look at this year

I do think it goes to show that Jack leach is under a appreciated, he’s a solid international cricketer who we’d be in trouble if didn’t exist

Don’t think they rate him or Bess but it’ll be one of those along with Leach.

Unless they fit someone like Lawrence in and use him/Root as other spin options

Yeah I mean I watched the Oz series and spin had very little impact

Fair chance you played one spinner, with wood. Jimmy and Robinson, with root n stokes

That’s what I do and I think they will do

But obviously you need spinners in squad just in case

Bess is a good cricketer in my opinion. I watched him bowl very well in Cape Town and has got good players out. Not finished article but I’d take him and probs Parkinson too

But yeah I’d only play leach. Pick your best bowlers
