Pakistan v England 3rd Test

Yeah there is certainly a argument they could have showed more fight at times and dug in more.

But it would have just delayed the inevitable on these big turning wickets and would have lost their wickets for roughly the same scores these last 2 tests just probably batted a little longer for same result.

Said when we toured India when you compare our spinners in these conditions against opposition ones we miles behind and that is the main problem imo

It’s the main problem for the situation. If every pitch was like this then absolutely we have a problem.

However the majority of pitches in England, Australia, NZ, SA and the WI aren’t like that.

Of course I want us to win every single test, but if we’re going to lose any I’d prefer it to be on specially selected pitches like this.

It has spun BUT apart from a couple keeping low it has NOT been a shocking wicket to bat spin on......none have exploded out the rough etc

Its probably worst 2 innings of batting ive seen us play in Asia.....1st innings they played too many sweeps....2nd innings they just dont know whether to push forward or go back...its been really bad....

Pope , Crawley just dont have any idea what to do....Stokes is completely shot with his batting at the moment.....

Some of the players with question marks have proved that they can. Smith has always seemed like a good player to me and a stubborn batsman who likes to get in. Duckett has showed he can apply himself in conditions like these after getting himself out a few times in the summer so he can leave with his head held high. Brook is still relatively early in his career so he'll learn from this. Crawley is doing what he's been asked to do.

Stokes has been a disappointment but is dealing with injury and has dug England out of the mire before.

The only one really under threat is Pope.

The New Zealand series will be very interesting. A couple of weeks ago I was very confident for it, but there’s a good chance NZ could go into it on the back of an away win in India, with Williamson still to come back into their side.

The flat pitches there should be good for our batters, but it’ll be interesting to see what the reaction is if we struggle there as well.

Bish, bash, bosh and hope for the best.

Their spin bowling is simply too good for us.
Bowling has been good but it hasnt been Shane Warne esq on a scuffed up pitch....due to no quick bowlers thee isnt any rough ffs......its been shockimg batting....mentally

Wonde how much anothe rTest Team would have scored on this.....we just give up

It hasn't needed to be. It's been good enough though as we can't play it. The pitch has been baked and raked tbf.

Some good bowling, but it’s like these lot have never played spin before. Two of the worst batting performances I’ve seen.

NZ is suddenly a massive series. Serious questions being asked of this team/regime for the first time, and rightly so.

Love Ben, but he’s a liability at the moment. Batting all at sea and hardly bowling.
