Pakistan v England 3rd Test

So 31 lead. Firm favourites. 15 lead you back us? As its a low scorer every run counts but in that example 16 runs pushes your take on it to both extremes.
Absolutely.

By quick I would like to think less than 10 runs ahead but yeh.

Think Stokes and co will be happy to go into the second innings with that little deficit the way this day has been playing out.

That wicket before tea was great timing.

We need to score 350 when we bat assuming we get these last wickets for under 50
We won't score that many. We won't need to. Both IMO of course.

Can't see how 16 runs can make such a difference in making either side big favourites.

It's turning into another football match thread again. Any acknowledgement of the opposition rather than just England are crap, playing poorly etc?

Got pointed out earlier. Pakistan batsman is trapped lbw back on the crease. Get in. Great bowling. Happens to an English batsman. Shite batting.

You had a point before that ridiculous last sentence. You tried to play the same card yesterday too before I pointed out the Root dismissal to you and the reaction to that - which was generally very measured - but you ignored.

It’s not hysterical to say that atleast 7 of our batsmen gave their wicket away.

It’s also not hysterical to question the bowling choices and field placings from England for most of today, but importantly since lunch.

I just dont think the pitch is as bad as the last test but weve got to be smart in shot selection. Their spinners did start to tire during the smith/Atkinson partnership.
Agreed on the pitch behaviour. Just don't see us needing to set anything more than 250.
That’s a ridiculous decision. I don’t care what DRS says, that was out. Atkinson was bowling over 80mph and banging it in and he couldn’t get it over hip height. Not a f*cking chance.
Comms saying they don't believe it was as close as DRS said

A fantastic knock from Shakeel which is starting to take it away.

Nah its irrational emotion flying about like you get at football. Hardly any praise at all for Pakistan.

Mind it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular.

Ticking the singles has been the game to play from Pakistan and they’ve done it well. We’ve also allowed them to do it though. They are showing though that there’s value in playing ‘easy, sensible’ cricket instead of trying to blast your way through it. This is where we we need to learn and adapt ‘Bazball’ and not just shrug our shoulders and say that’s the way we play.

So no comment whatsoever on any of the points I raised?

You’re still ignoring the Root point.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I stand by every single thing I’ve said today. Especially regarding Saud. We bowled an entire session to him where we were feeding him singles to get him off strike.
