Pakistan v England 3rd Test

I’ve gone with ignore. Meant I didn’t comment on the 2nd test at all as couldn’t see the thread

It is what it is. But just weird

Posting bollocks like ‘free entry today’ for a game that is being played on the other side of the world is clearly the sort of quality content the mods are after as opposed to comments and opinions from genuine cricket fans.

Seriously, I don’t get it, can someone explain to me how their turboposting of utter bilge is of more use to the forum than actual thoughts and opinions? What am I not seeing here? Do the forum get more money for the number of posts/traffic or summit?
Is this a bit of a bunson burner ? or have we just batted poorly ?

Very much a case of both. I reckon only 2 of the wickets have been due to the pitch.

So, Crawley, Pope, Brook, stokes, Smith, Ahmed and Leach have all got themselves out...7 out of 10 wickets isn't great
Duckett and root got good balls
Aggers reckons 400 pitch and that you need to play straight, and suspects Pakistan will do that

I think 400 pitch is a bit of a reach given how much it’s turning and how variable the bounce has been.

Playing straight is 1000% the way to go though, which is what Aggers is right about, finally England learned that, it took an innings and a half - because Pakistan profited from that last week.

Think it might be high end for par but if you can get 260 despite throwing as many away to poor shot selection as England did in the morning, it’s not out of the question as a target if you bat sensibly from the off and it goes well.

This has been a terrible start from Leach. So poor that his line and length has been so erratic given how many overs he’s got under his belt in 2024. Absolutely not threatening at all.

Pakistan booked really well first session. Aided by a turning pitch.

On the flip side they were prepared to toss them up given their dominant start, which offered us opportunities to pick up a good chunk of runs.

I'd be surprised if they didn't get a lead mind.

“I would like to see the ultra edge”

A blind man on a galloping horse could see the bat wasn’t in the same postcode
