classy player, who i thought would go onto bigger things.

got the dvd of the tour to india (1-1) under flintoff, where he mudered the indian attack. he looked arrogant as fook, knocking the ball well over ropes whilst staring at the bowler with a gob full of chewey :cool:

indeed, looked like a superb player. never really got a proper chance at test cricket imo but always looked more suited to limited overs.

in that tour of india monty made an appearance and fucked up hugely when he lost sight of a ball dropping out the sky and tried to catch a shadow instead, Udal cleaned them up to draw the series so harm done haha.

I like the lad a lot.

Very under-rated Classy player. Can hit a beeffy six to boot.

His time has gone now methinks for England. Wish we gave him a proper shot like Bell. Bell has turned me round. Used to hate him now love him.

looked like he could be a decent player however lacks mental strength and general shot making shots so intruth is just an unorthodox average player. Could have been more.

When someone asked him at the test match a few year back he replied. "I dont like football, I just do it to annoy Collingwood"
