I am ashamed to say that I’ve heard racist abuse at the SoL in my lifetime.

And racist chants, albeit not sung in the ground.

Depends on the people and the context. Mate of mine is mixed race and used to make borderline racist jokes all the time. Another lad I know posted a picture of him in an igloo he'd made on instagram but put an N in front of the igloo caption. (black lad) Laughed my arse off I've got to say. I think there's a big difference between taking the piss out of yourself or your mates or stereotypes vs having a go at a race cos you think they're all x y or z.

We were drinking with a kid from Trinidad in Newcastle around Xmas. He was dropping the n word in all the time talking about his mates. I was squirming like fuck and I have no idea why, like that slavvering dog

Unbelievable. Crazy not having a delay, it sounded like he knew exactly what he was saying as oppose do to it being a ‘slip of the tongue’
