Our T20 bowling tactics . Been on my mind all night

Only slight question for me at the moment is Doneathy vs Glover. Other than that perfectly happy with selections.

We're doing well this season, let's remember our recent T20 record. Small steps, this will take time to fix, don't expect instant results overnight, a lot of damage has been done in recent times.

Doneathy played Glover didn't

It’s strange as they bowled glover but in the three games Doneathy had not bowled nor really had a bat

Now Parnell is here possibly I'd think mark wood will take that place if England let him no need to be arsey btw was asking genuine question

Mark Wood is an interesting one. We play Glamorgan on June 11th in a 4 day game, ECB dictate. Will they want him playing a couple of Blast games or will they want to see if he can cope in a 4 day game ahead of The Ashes?

Depends how fast he can get up to speed I'm not sure it's about coping, we all know he could probably play 3 Tests probably anyway, he hasn't been great in England anyway

He was in the nets last week, was a rumour he was turning out for Ashington last weekend which never happened. He won't play all 5 Ashes tests as we all know, so the ECB might want to see how his fitness is and throw him in for Durham for some game time which we've got loads of in the next few weeks. We're on our arse for bowlers in the red ball game, so Wood playing would be a welcomed addition but as we know it's not up to Durham.

Do you mean as in young people coming through because broad and Potts and woakes with Robinson and Jimmy to come back looks okay

Seemingly we've brought in Shaun Tait to work with our quicks on T20 bowling, according to an article in the Cricketer today, which is news to me

Whether he's been here since the start of the T20 or whether he's just been drafted in, I don't know. It is however, another indication that the new regime is not prepared to let things bumble along or let the grass grow underfoot

He was interviewed last night during the match by dom cork on sky

It was the first I'd heard of it.

Hopefully he'll realise that we need a better fast bowling plan than the one we had last night
I probably missed the Cork interview while I was choking on my Godawful scampi and chips
