Our Starting 11 on Sunday

Cost the same as Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez (£106m).

Two players who were signed in League One started and combined for the first goal, with 2 further players signed in the Championship involved (Le Fee and Isidor).

We also had an academy product (Rigg) see playing time, with two players signed in League One on the bench (Cirkin and Mayenda).

Unbelievable recruitment 👏🏻

I think the most unbelievable bit of recruitment is Chelsea paying £106m for Fernandez.

We should invite them to bid on a few of our players

I think he's very good to be honest.

Didn't think much of him on Sunday as him and Caicedo were letting runners fly past them left, right and centre, but in general he's excellent.

Will we ever pay a 100 million for a player? Xhaka was 15 or so...prime Xhaka a 100 million? Who is our most valuable player? Sadiki is my guess.

don’t get me wrong I love Sadiki to bits, but there’s no chance he would sell for even half that amount atm.

His work rate is phenomenal, his positioning and tactical awareness are good too, and he seems to have a really good character. But if you were looking to sign him for a top team, he would still be a bit of a gamble. His goal contributions have been very low for his position. He hasn’t scored, and he’s mustered only one assist all season. So although he is very good at what he does, he doesn’t have the full toolkit for his position, which I think means any top team looking to sign him, would only do so at the right price.

Don’t come at me defending him though, I love him to bits and absolute do not want to drop him or sell him. I’m not complaining about him, I’m just explaining why I don’t believe he is worth anywhere near to £100m

I don't disagree with you marra, in fact our midfield generally have been light on goals, but if you compare him to Moises Caicedo for example, who cost Chelsea £115m, he had 3 goals and one assist this season (and he's a dirty bas**rd, 11 bookings, i sending off) - so whilst you're right I think, we wouldn't get that sort of money (yet) for Sadiki, maybe another season at this level (with us) would paint a different picture? BTW even Declan Rice 'only' had 4 goals and 7 assists this season.

Hopefully this time next year we're reflecting on an improvement in those areas - if he has had maybe 3 goals and 6 assists (say) clubs will be lining up to pay £100m.

Mayenda wasn't signed in league one man, he was our loch ness drogba replacement.

Rookie mistake @The Situation

Apologies. Heads all over the place after Sunday

I'm not saying he's worth £100m FWIW. He's not. Just that he's probably the player in the squad right now that would command the highest fee if he was to be sold.

All of these were mentioned in various YouTube videos of Chelsea supporters, fuming at the billions wasted in their club. They also mentioned the double.
