A priority for the summer is to get a player who can do Xhaka's role when he misses games.

We need to bring in an understudy to Xhaka as he won’t play every game and his powers will start to wane over the next couple of seasons. It will probably be the hardest job for the recruitment team to identify a suitable player.

if and it’s a big if Sadiki could add a goal threat to his game he becomes a serious player who we’d get silly money off.

I think that’s the reason he will stay another season i don’t think clubs will pay the money that we would want untill he adds more goals etc to his game.

We do need someone who can do that role but will need to be someone who can do other stuff as well as they won't likely want to sit on the bench until Xhaka is out.

Diarra is dynamic and has showed glimpses of what he was bought for when he breaks the lines off a one two for example. The injury has wrecked his season and any chance for building momentum.

Dynamic is just a nice way of saying he runs about really.

Nope, not for me. He was bought to break the lines. He got injured and hasn't had the run of games the club would have wanted. You can look on the negative side if you wish, and to be fair you have form for it.

Today was the first game in 14 he hasn’t featured.

Its a perfectly balanced setup. The engine, the control and the creator. And all 3 get stuck in to boot.
Its painfully obvious that its the wide spots that need attention.

Man Utd obviously missed Casimero but loved how our midfield three played today. Only criticism would be the lack of goals in them but as others have said that's more to do with the attacking wide players. Whenever we played off Brobbey we looked seriously dangerous. Just didn't have that composure in the final third after we'd created space for those forwards. Definite signs of progression though.

Bit more quality on the wings we'd be laughing.

If we had two menacing wingers who can cover the full backs defensivley whilst chipping in with goals and assists at the other we would be top 7

We have a pretty stable back four and a good midfield 3, Brobbey needs support around him.

If we had two like a Bowen and a Richarlison either side we would be lethal.

Wasn't there a rumour about us chasing a defensive midfield player who played for Le Fee at L'Orient?

It needs reinforcement in the summer though. You can’t expect those 3 to play every minute of every game.

100% If we have to cash in on one player for me it would be Diarra.

Still need to go and get a top centre mid who can compliment them.

Anguisa has been mentioned again. If he’s still playing as good as he did when Napoli last won Serie A he’d be a class signing.

Leon Avdullahu from Hoffenheim is the guy for me though.

Very hard to judge him this season, he hasn’t really had a run. Injured early doors then AFCON.

There is a player there however I think we can do better. Must keep Xhaka, Le Fee & Sadiki though.
