If anything, the club's relationship with the fans has improved since Quinn left.
What makes you say that mate? Not that I disagree or agree really, just interested to see how you think it has improved. I think that it all depends how well we're doing. A few good wins and Quinn is a god, we couldn't be in better hands than Ellis Short, if we go on a bad run Quinny is a gobshite and Ellis needs to sell up.

Was down there today. Atmosphere was quality from start to finish. Easily out sung the few hundred Leicester fans who were trying singing now and then. Everyone just seemed up for it today. Noise was immense at times.

I'll give credit where its due , that group of Leicester fans never stopped until the last five minutes

being up in the north east of England comes with advantages and disadvantages in the modern era

strong fan base and good numbers

unfortunately not enough for a major investor to invest in

a little bit too far off the action?

all a bit borinisc really

Had my pants down here mind mate haha. Totally agree with you on these if I'm honest. Maybe I'm just being greedy, and quite possibly maybe it's just that modern football is so out of touch with the common man. I probably shouldn't use this as a way to attack the club.

Seriously mate, responding with humility and dignity is not the way to go on here. Just tell him he's a kernt and keep repeating your lines and occasionally adding that he is too thick to understand.

Yeah but you could barely hear them most of the time. Must only have been 800 or so really giving it a good go at creating an atmosphere.

He employs people who aren't very good at running a football club. That doesn't mean they're totally incompetent or unable to do any job in the wider community, they're just not equipped or life experienced enough to do the job required at a high profile Premier League football club.
He allowed himself to be duped by De Fanti, that alone could be the Oxford English Dictionary definition of stupidity. If he believed even a quarter of the shite De Fanti then he's beyond f**king stupid.

He employed people who allowed contracts to expire with no re-sale. That would be stupid enough but someone gave an initial contract that ended just outside the compensation date. Complete and utter incompetence.
I agree with this bit like. That showed we needed (and still do) someone on the board with more of a Football background. I think we do lack a bit guidance on that front.

A thread about our fans and that dull fucker PISTON uses it to have a dig at the club, worra bore
I agree with this as well like

Dull as dishwater, but right every time.
Don't hide from the truth. It's lapdogs like yourself who help to see the supporters get short changed.

Certain clubs like to claim they are special (two immediately spring to mind) and will tell anyone who cares to listen.

The difference with us, is we know the club isn't, but the fans are - and we keep it to ourselves.
Classy as ever.

Not one other top flight club would average our attendances and level of vocal support, after what we have been through - and continue to experience, to some degree.

Best in the land. Especially the away fans.

Take a bow, lads and lasses. You always do us proud!

Whilst I agree with most of this post, I don't think we keep it to ourselves mind. Been all over Twitter this week as it was before Burnley away too.

Had a brilliant day out today. Real top set of lads and lasses in the away end contributing to a great atmosphere!

None at all - there isn't a club in the country with less success over the last 40 years and more support (home and away) than SAFC.
Or in Europe? is there another team that averages 40k that has not competed in one of the two main European competitions in the last 40 years?
