It could be because they're a bit shy.
It could be because they don't always know all the words.
It could be because they're just watching the match.
Or it could be because they have paid their money, travelled, been doing it since they can't remember when, and don't want a jumped up little shite telling them how to support a club they have been supporting for nearly 60 years.

Lots of reasons really.

The strawberry-blonde lad in trackies just in front of me, toward the back but right behind the goal, was responsible for 80% of the singing tonight and should be applauded.

I've not been for ages so didn't know "Get into them..." was a thing but was f***ing overjoyed by that.

Also what was the crack with that old guy popping another old guy's nose in the bogs? I probably could have stopped it but waited 5 seconds to finish my piss before dragging them apart.
