Open Letter To Ellis Short/Petition

This is a genuine question. If we had a different owner and were still shit would we want them out, too?

The petition says we are a humble lot and don't expect the world in the terms of league position but then complains about our league position.

Is it not actually all about league position?
Would we be in finanial ruin, with an owner who doesn't give a shit and not evwn trying to improve anything?

As it says. Please have a read, and get it signed.
It can hopefully spark something that will remove the fans current apathy towards the whole situation.
Also gives fans around the globe a change to have their say.

I posted a thread proposing this and delivering it to Skibo castle .... do I get royalties ;)

An alternative protest

It's a good letter, and a good first step. It's a balanced, reasonable, the request - don't just make the club available for sale, please, for the love of God, make it a priority to sell asap - is a reasonable and (in a good way) simple one.

I have no idea why some people are so desperately looking to pick holes in this, or complain about this being Magish. I don't understand why Sunderland fans wouldn't feel able to sign, but if you don't, then just don't sign it.

Pretty sure at this point he will be desperate to sell considering we are more than likely gonna be in league 1 next season and he won't get anywhere near £50mil for us then......

You're a bit precious. Perhaps people just think it would make more difference and be more successful if it had been a bit more professional and well done? The utter bastards.
