As much as I'm glad to hear the news I think it's a funny decision - his limited overs performances have never seemed as good as his 'proper cricket' ones. Hopefully it's an indication he'll be in the test squad for January.
 
Why is his career at Durham over?

He's way down the test pecking order & I cant see him playing much ODI cricket when Jimmy & Broad come back.

He's also just signed a new contract.
