According to the Telegraph, the competition would feature several of the national counties beyond the first-class counties, with teams from Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands potentially being included too.

The tournament could be played alongside The Hundred instead of the current One-Day Cup from the 2023 season onwards.

Quite enjoyed it last season with lots of young players getting a chance and certainly better to watch than either of the shorter forms.
Not sure what teams from our Celtic neighbours or elsewhere will add.

Tbf the one day cup has the feeling of a papa Johns trophy nowadays
