One Day Cup Final Tickets

I see the FTECB have been forced into reducing the ticket prices to £10/£1 with some tickets available for NHS workers. Whilst some may suggest this is a nice gesture, it really isn't, they're doing it to save embarrassment of an empty ground. Scheduling is embarrassing, for whichever set of fans are in the final it's an absolute mess with the final not finishing until around 9pm and the semi finals not set to finish until 7pm on the Tuesday night which is less than 48 hours before the final. Obviously I hope Durham are involved but it's going to be difficult for many Durham fans to attend the game, and I'm sure members of other teams will be saying the same thing (Notts excluded).

Absolutely. A Thursday afternoon and evening so need to take two days off, which I can’t really commit to with other things I want to use my allowance for later in the year. I’d go whoever were playing if it was a weekend, but Sod’s law means Yorkshire will end up getting there now. Almost hoping we don’t tbh as it would be annoying as fuck not being able to be there

With a 7 week summer holiday this year - it could be quite a week - Lords Saturday then another trip south for a Durham game!

I'm off graft and have looked at travelling up but it's a bit of a job getting there for an 11pm start. Quite expensive cos it's been left so late too. Might sit in the Fountain for the day if we get there. Mind, an Ayrton entry would help make up for the extra travel costs.

Edit, just seen 1pm start. Not much chance of getting home after then.

1pm start by the way

It's not too long ago that the one day final was the equivalent of the FA cup final
with a full house guaranteed. It has been relegated to a side show with ridiculous scheduling
in favour of the all singing all dancing 100. I can see it being axed in favour the 50

It was already played in half full grounds by 2014 when we beat Warks. The T20 cup did the damage.

Durham v Glamorgan could be interesting. I reckon we could fill a bus from the ground. I think Sunderland are at home as well.
Finals on the Thursday not the Saturday

This, a Thursday is such a crap day for a final. Can’t get the time off at such short notice and even if I could, mates couldn’t so I’d be on my own. Trains will be full price at 2 days notice too, and hotels.
