They’ve just had a replay of an old final at Lords with a good, healthy & vocal crowd at Lords. Makes me sick what the ECB have done to Cricket in this country.

It was arguably the highlight and biggest day of the domestic cricket season. Always a full house at Lords and covered on the BBC. It is sad to see that this fuxture has fallen so far and become a shadow of its former self.

This fixture needs to move back to Lords and be played no later than the first week in September.

Pretty impressive Tom Taylor bowling 9 overs conceding just 24 runs and taking 1 wicket. Included 39 dot balls.

He's the joint leading wicket taker in CC division 1 this season alongside Jack Leach. Both probably not getting the credit they deserve.

•Back to North & South groups

•Group stage, quarters & semis played in a 5 week block at the start of the season. Right through the middle of the Easter holidays.

•Final played at Lords or The Oval on the last weekend before The Blast starts.
