One bad result

They've spent about the same haven't they?
Does this mean that they should not win a game at home all season

No, less, and on top end championship mostly, I hold ourselves to higher standards of recruitment.

I don't know what the second sentence means?

We'll see marra.
I think they all really tried today, no different to last week from an effort point of view.

Like I said on another thread somewhere, we were always gaana fall off the wave of euphoria we have been surfing since the Semi Finals.
Today was the day unfortunately.

We'll pick ourselves up, and go again.👍

HTL.

Definitely, as I say, im far from saying everything is shit, just today was.

I think the intensity and focus were somewhat of a byproduct of the game plan we appeared to be following to control them, understandable away from home with Xhaka, whereas West Ham was to outwork.

You have gone though unbelievable transformation in such a short period in time and back to the toughest league of them all.

You will have plenty more like this today thus get used to it. All about survival and won a game already. Ffs if you are throwing the towel in already then that is just daft.
Look at the history of promoted clubs. This will be one big scrap and you don’t want a large fanbase adding to the pressure.
The season has only just started.

I agree

‘Disgrace’ ‘Pathetic’ etc etc. What happened to backing the lads through a tough season? That out the window already?
Exactly! We could've opened the score easily, they would've been forced to attack and we could've score another on the counter. It was bad luck, two incredible misses and an injury.
We're ok, nothing changes, team still has to gel and like we knew already we are after a CB and a RW to fill the possible gaps.
3 points against Brentford and we're on our way.
Stop with this negativity, last week people were talking about Mayenda going to Barcelona, now he's not a Prem level player according to some. 😂 It's just a game and a mishit shot. Get over it!

Imagine being Man City today. Looking unstoppable then looking comical.
It’s two games in and people are shitting the bed.
We will have worse days than today but no doubt a lot better too.
It’s going to be a long season and today hopefully brought a few fans expectations back down to earth !
Stop talking sense, you’ll upset folk!😂

This, we were in it to the 86 minute, forget tha EM miss, yeah bit of composure needed, the lads been magnificent for us, take it, ffs we are Seventh. I thought we were good for a point, shit happens. Fair play to Burnley, we move on. Keep it real.

We need to be better than that, much better. One shot on target was it ?
No cutting edge going from one side of the pitch to the other.
Not good enough. If that team struggled like they did against Burnley it doesn’t bode well. Yes you can argue they’ve just come together etc but they need to remember where the oppos goal is and quick.

People overreact to the negativity on here after a loss. It's just people having a vent and a moan to get it out their system. Better here than taking it into the ground with them next weekend.

Newly promoted team has 3 points from 2 games, some seem shocked that they aren't winning every single game of the season. 😂

It’s telling that the three promoted teams each won their home game and lost their away game.

We need to average a point per game to have a chance at staying up. The only hope we have of that happening is for our new, mostly-young team to gel quickly, and our home support is going play a big role in making that happen.

The SoL is incredible on big occasions - play off semis, relegation 6 pointers etc. That’s going to count for a lot, especially when we’re struggling.
