On the beach or sussed out?

The unknown product and intensity we had at the start of the season served it's purpose. 2nd season will be much tougher as teams now know our style of play and that we are limited in creativity. We all know our battling qualities have won us the points this year. Battling will get you so far in games , so let's see if we can bring in some quality in the summer. It will be needed for a potentially tough season ahead.

I’d have sold a kidney at the start of the season to take 6 points from them kernts and be away from relegation well before the end of the season.

we’re now carrying too many fair weather expecting followers who think we’ll take the world on, if they’d been round for the camp, mclaughlin and love years they’ll soon realise how over the knot the majority of us are
100% this...👏👏👏

If we had 11 men I dont think we would have lost today.

Re the wider point we managed to beat Newcastle with a load of injuries recently and Spurs couldnt lay a glove on us.

The team are safe now and have over achieved and our gaffer likes to use a small group of players so there will be some fatigue, plus a world cup is on the horizon.

We didn't lose?

I think we played most of the match with 10 men
And there’s the reason for the dropped points yesterday.

It’s insane how some people don’t think it was the main factor.
Would you not want us to play in Europe before you die?
Would love for us to play in Europe one day, but I do think we need to be realistic here.

It’s our first season back in the premier league for 8 years and the last 2 prem seasons have had all promoted clubs relegated.

Only aim this season was stop up, and we’ve mathematically done that with 3 games to spare.

I think the whole Europe talk needs to be shelved until we establish ourselves as a premier league club - see Brentford or Brighton etc.

Figured out second half of the season and we've grinded out results which is probably required when you come up.

Regis doesn't seem to be able to get us playing good attacking Football or find that link between midfield and our strikers. Think this will be the reason they'll move him on personally KLD isn't daft and he will want to kick on to the next "5 year plan" rather than fighting relegation battles.

RLB has built the solid foundations to kick on but I just don't think he will be the man do it UNLESS he has a massive tactical overhaul in the summer and possibly a few new coaches.

We lost our beast of defender in the 24th minute. Had he stayed on all game we would have won it.

So just a shit set of circumstances.

What ever went wrong at Villa should still be more of a concern.

I was expecting a huge response to the Forest thrashing , even with 11 men it wasn’t going to happen , we were lucky to get a point yesterday and that’s worrying.
Amazing how we see things differently. I thought over the 90 mins we were comfortably cthe better team. With 11 men we were a goal up and in complete control of the game. Any team playing a man down for 60 or 70 mins is going to require a bit of luck to survive. Last 20 mins of that game there was only one team looking to win it. US. Reg signalled his intent with the suns. Am not sure what game you were watching ?
Well and truly sussed.Lumping it up to Brobbey will get us relegated next season.
I know your not a mag , but hawa man , that’s just BS.

I think a footnote to this is the period right in the middle of the season, December and January. The squad was down to the bare bones and we created a mentality. We drew 5 out of 9 and beat the mags. That included two gritty performances against Liverpool away and City at home. Those 8 points have proven to be crucial imo. This is the job that the squad was put together to do. I don't think either statement in the OP is applicable really. The summer will be interesting. Will they now want us to take a different direction in terms of style and approach?

“ looking to win it “ sums it up nicely , comfortably the better team but toothless up front and a couple of good saves stopped us getting nothing from the game.

Almost but not quite a point gained sort of game imho.

Taking Brighton as a comparison, they've been in the PL almost a decade now and were a bottom 6 side for the first 4 seasons
