Ollie Robinson

??? IIRC the only thing I said was it was a shame Brook didn't beat the all-time record for a quickest century. Some people have to work.

Some of the crack on here is ridiculous and deserved to be called out, e.g.:"I’m starting to think we may never see him in international cricket again."
“Well that puts the pitch into perspective” no praise for the batting and scoring at an unheard of 6 or 7 an over which ultimately helped us win the game. Liking any post that put more emphasis on the pitch than the performance of the batsmen. Yes ‘calling people out’ you do like doing that to people who are in your view wrong but never offering praise or even showing any enjoyment of the game. It’s soul destroying

Smoker mate, I like you and I know you love your cricket, but you cant pretend you havent been critical of a lot of things like, you very rarely give them any credit IMO.

You were pretty keen to claim England scored the most runs ever in a day just as it was flat, when you know that isnt the case.
He really is. Delighted he’s got himself fit again

I think he needed for overseas but at home he was fine, but he really is quality

Tall, so accurate, and he is really aggressive and in your face which you have to be

If he was slightly quicker would be mad

Talking to myself here, but I always use this example of people have become way to obsessed with pace, if you are qualuty and skillfull you can take wickets everywhere. I remember South Africa winning in Oz not that long ago, the wickets were flat as pancakes, but they tore through the aussies with Abbott and Philander, who are not quick at all just seriously good bowlers.

Craig Overton for example is no slower than Robinson really he just is nowhere near as good of a bowler etc.

He reminds me on McGrath with his lengths. He’s superb. Some people are conflating “shit” with “unfit/unprofessional”

I just think you are going over the top with him being unprofessional like

He was fit enough to bowl day after day in the CC on the biggest grind in world cricket, its not easy to just know whats needed to bowl long spells overseas is it, thats why bowling at that level is so hard. You learn what you need when you get there. Stokes wasnt as fit as he was know when he first arrived etc.

Even he has admitted it mind.
