Don't think Benjamin was going to happen. Any chance we see Robinson more as a replacement for Dickson than Mackintosh?I should be more pleased with this than I am considering his age and profile, cant complain at all, guess I'd just want to back Tom Mac and I also really really rate Benjamin

Presume they prefer Jordan Cox as Billings is always in and around the England team.
Decent signing but I was happy with Eckersley, even if a bit radge.
No - he has left Kent for the opportunity to keep wicket. He will be WK in all formats next year. He was an absolute star this year in my book. He played virtually the entire Championship season with a damaged finger. There was no Plan B at that time. He took 22 CC catches in 8 games this year though it’s true the batting struggled a bit.Decent signing but I was happy with Eckersley, even if a bit radge.
I'm not against his signing at all, just wondered if he'd been brought in as a batsman if Kent would only play him as wk and he's 3rd on that listNo - he has left Kent for the opportunity to keep wicket. Looking at what Kent supporters are saying he is by far the best keeper but the other two are better batsmen. The modern game i suppose batting first then keeping.
And in county cricket with a diet of meduim pace and not much standing up to the wicket. I think Jack Russell was the last keeper i watched really having an impact on a game standing up to the stumps in our domestic gameBeen that way since Gilchrist came along. Everyone wants a top class keeper who can average 40+. They scarcely exist but it all but ended "specialist" keepers
