Olive Oil

When cooking with it, does anyone else find that they pour it into the pan with an exaggerated uber-flamboyant chefly swirl which they don't use for other cooking oils, whether they're using vegetable oil, sunflower oil, groundnut oil or Castrol GTX?

In Spain you pour it into the pan with miserly care. It costs a bloody fortune here. Never seen it less than 4 Euros for a litre bottle. At least in UK you can stock up when there are special offers on.

Carefree over here in Malaga. Pour a shit load in. And only use Girasol fr eggs or fried potatoes (chips/bravas). Everything else is Extra Virgin.
