Despite the result on Saturday and the fact this is against 4th div, I’m encouraged so far. At least we’re getting the ball down and trying to play. Maybe just personal preference but it seems light years away from the shite Parkinson was serving

Not so sure that run was down to putting Wyke in the team mind. More a change of formation and the wing backs getting down the sides imo.

If Grigg had more pace he'd be an infinitely better option but he's not, unfortunately.

a few things really, but Gooch also coming back and actually having some one up front who Gooch and maguire could play off helped. we simply function better as a team with Wyke and he's shite technically.

grigg had been tidy at times, but unthreatening. same story this season.

Played well has Grigg tonight. Clearly was never going to happen for him playing Parkyball. Hopefully LJ saying he wants us to break lines and pass forward will have encouraged him, that’s the kind of football that allowed Grigg to flourish at Wigan.

f***ing hell, he's worse than all our midfielders put together . What is the point ,give a young un a go.

Hes pretty much the same age as our young ones. He’s having a poor season, but maybe a new manager and new ideas will help him
