Striker
Bit of a keeper clanger for their goal. None of our keepers inspire confidence, really.
We also don’t inspire confidence in the keepers though, they’re all living on their nerves knowing one mistake and they’re out of the team.

And he does have skill.tin hat on, but tiny green shoots from grigg
I've been his biggest critic, but at least he looks a bit hungrier tonight
They only let Scowen take the corners, so he’s able to get a kick during the game.Thought Diamond was head and shoulders better than anyone else on our side. Power, Scowen and Leadbitter have been ineffectual (as usual). At least Leadbitter's corners are better than Scowen's. It makes you wonder what genius came up with the 'Scowen as dead ball specialist' bollocks.

Grigg has to be the slowest striker in our history
Playing Scowen, Power and Leadbitter is not great - all too similar. On tonights display Leadbitter looks too slow, Power too ordinary but Scowen has looked the pick. I would love to see Dan Neil play instead of Power - he would offer something else and can be protected by the other 2.
During the break in proceedings, I wonder who our new Head of Recruitment will be?
Well there's a shock - Diamond is the best player on the pitch played in his correct position. Illustrates the utter awfulness and deceit of Parkinson. Johnson needs to play Diamond on Saturday - if he doesn't it will be 'meet the new boss, same as the old boss'.
Leadbitter has been fine. He’s done the deep role as asked and remains our most comfortable in possession. The two ahead have been garbage though. Dobbo and Neil on for them two would be the only changes I’d make. Keep the front three the same as they need minutes (for different reasons) and have done okay.Thought Diamond was head and shoulders better than anyone else on our side. The problem with Scowen is that he's not very good at football. If you took all of the best bits of all three, you'd have a half decent player - by half decent, I mean someone like Craig Gardner.Playing Scowen, Power and Leadbitter is not great - all too similar. Defence backing off and lack of legs in midfield for me. Remnants of parkyball.Bit of a keeper clanger for their goal. None of our keepers inspire confidence, really.
That's true, but some of the recent errors have been rudimentary. Having a brittle defence in front of you doesn't help either, like.We also don’t inspire confidence in the keepers though, they’re all living on their nerves knowing one mistake and they’re out of the team.
Plenty of energy but ultimately shite today. Leadbitter remains the pick - even at a slow pace - as he’s the only footballer in our midfield. The problem with Scowen is that he's not very good at football. It was a bit of a mess all round, but I expected a bit better from the keeper. Especially against a middle aged man from Brookside....Defence backing off and lack of legs in midfield for me. Remnants of parkyball.
