Danny nicely pointing out the striking deficiencies when a decent cross comes over but (in this case Grigg) the forward is on his heels instead of attacking the ball.

Thought Diamond was head and shoulders better than anyone else on our side. Power, Scowen and Leadbitter have been ineffectual (as usual). At least Leadbitter's corners are better than Scowen's. It makes you wonder what genius came up with the 'Scowen as dead ball specialist' bollocks.

Get more whippersnappers on!

Our midfield is crying out fir a Dickson Etuhu or Alfred N’Diaye type of player.
Even somebody physical like Jeff Whitley would improve them.
Playing Scowen, Power and Leadbitter is not great - all too similar. On tonights display Leadbitter looks too slow, Power too ordinary but Scowen has looked the pick. I would love to see Dan Neil play instead of Power - he would offer something else and can be protected by the other 2.

Impressed with Diamond. We look more organised and more like a team. People actually looking for players to pass to rather than aimlessly hoofing it. It's good to see.
There are clear weaknesses but despite giving a poor goal away its been a bit better tonight.

Some nice passing and interplay, looking for through balls and to utilize Diamond’s pace.

Baby steps but this is better than punting it long every time and watching Wyke/Grigg/Graham struggle to get near it.
