That is a f***ing incredible collation of photos from all over the North East. I have just spent an hour scrolling through my town, Stanley.

I did not realise the concrete balustrades at roker beach were that old!

Has anyone got any context for the 1897 Olympic photo? No idea what's going on

I may be wrong but I believe the building with pillars on the right is what is now (or was) the Gentoo office opposite Wilkos
