I used to hear the b*stard every night. Our keyboard player used to play a bit of it when I used to introduce him at the end of the night with our Vince Clarke show and we took the piss, calling him an old fart and told him to play something from the 80s, so now the twat plays the birdy song.

TOTP was truly sanitised shite most of the time. The Clash and Nirvana did the right thing by taking the piss out of the mime show.

JD never actually appeared on OGWT , but their appearance on Something Else was often used on OGWT re-runs for some reason.
In fact JD only ever appeared on Granada Reports, What's On and Something Else during their whole lifetime as a band
