Hi folks,

A tune I wrote about Durham was featured on BBC Introducing this week - I know there's a few guitarists/musos and plenty general music fans on here so thought I'd share. That's me on the red and white (🤓) strat and keys.

A bit more background if anyone's arsed:

“With over 100 million streams Pointy Features have become something of a mainstay since first arriving online back in 2018. The brainchild of Durham-based guitarist Dan Leak (previously named Marshall's 'Guitarist of the Year'), the project blends together slow-hand blues guitar, with a nod to vintage '60s psychedelia. Their latest vocal LP ' Hill End' releases 8th March, produced by John Martindale (Sam Fender, Pale White, Pigsx7) at Blank Studios, draws influences from the likes of Pink Floyd, The Doors and Khruangbin. The band masterfully weaves together elements of rock and psychedelic blues to create a modern twist on a sound that has stood the test of time. The album debuts with a live show at The Cluny, Newcastle on Friday 8th March”
