A lot of young people are so detached from world events is incredible. I used to work with a lass a few year ago and it was pure entertainment to quiz her about her thoughts on the world.About 10 years ago I worked with a lass in her early 20s who had never heard of The Beatles.
Tony Blair was an American president, World War Two started in 1965 and she'd also never heard of The Beatles. The sad thing was she could tell you anything about anyone that had ever been on Love Island.

Yes and no. Quite clearly thick, but also zero interest in anything other than social media and influencers. She'd call me sad for saying I was fascinated with the Vietnam War or that I wish I'd gone into marine biology from school.
