two absolutely shite teams so will take that

absolutely nothing to fear at their place. Jack Ross and his negativity is the worry. should attack the fuckers from the off but fully expect him to setup to defend the advantage

I don't like criticising one of our players but just can't believe how poor Gooch has been since he got back into the side .
Never rated him before but when he started off the season with a bang , thought okay maybe I was wrong and was willing to admit it .
He has gone backwards so far it's unbelievable . All he does is run around ,fouling the opposition, claiming he is fouled ,constantly losing the ball , running into dead ends and slowing down or cocking up any breaks we make .
If he gets a start on Thursday ,I will be disappointed but hope he scores and I have to eat my words .;)

You’ll be hungry !

Wonder how bad Mcgeady's injury is? will give us a greater chance if he plays Thursday
But didn't Goochy do well? (Note: Not that I expected him to).

I'd be telling Maguire to keep nipping him in the tunnel.
Normally against such stuff, but this is Pompey.

Fans forums are a real vipers nest.

Some folk only want to moan.

The St Mirren site, (sorry, it's address is Blackandwhitearmy.com), that I normally frequent is just the same (sadly).

Sadly this Sunderland forum is so typical of other sites that I have visited.

95% of posters are committed, loyal fans. And then there are those poxy, negative attention-seekers who delight in the misery that a poor run of results can impose on the loyal and faithful supporters.

It's depressing for the committed fans who are still bursting with positivity, even in difficult times, that there are "fans" who only stick their head above the parapet to spout negativity when things aren't as smooth as everyone had hoped. My club's site is just the same !!

Every fans forum I visit is dominated by doom-laden negativity from within, mainly due to a small, smug-faced contingent of tiny-penised attention-seekers who seem to get their kicks by wishing ill on the team they are supposed to support.

For the last umpteen months and more this site has been bombarded with negativity because Sunderland have been treading water against some supposedly lower-ranked opposition, yet despite the "incompetence" the team have still achieved the play-offs. And tonight's result is a significant step forwards in the quest for promotion. At this stage in the season results are more important than the quality of performance.
