I said this on here last week ........ the people who criticise the club are always the forst to come on when we in.

"Yes I know I was crowing when I thought we'd lose but let's not spoil the night by arguing, we're all Sunderland supporters together' or summat like that.

I'm too pissed to look tonight but I'll look it up tomorrow.

People like you sicken decent supporters with your f***ing smarmy defeatist attitude.

I can't continue to argue because I'm ecstatic about the win and too drunk :D

I backed us to win, how does that work then?

Enjoy the rest of your Shandy, I look forward to our next joust :D

well I'm not sure what to make of that if I'm honest. Oh apart from the ref was f***ing shocking and I hope he has a broken sneck, the ****

Hmm, I've stayed out of the 'exchanges' on here tonight and perhaps we were a little lucky tonight. Both the MK Dons fans who travelled up will probably feel we stole the game and they deserved extra time at least.

But hec, a win is a win and perhaps, just perhaps, this will kickstart our season. Roll on Palarse!!! :-)

I think a fair bit of perspective is needed here. It would be madness to sack Di Canio at this stage, or for that matter this season, given the players he's brought in and the likely time he'll need to get them together as a good team.

However I think the start of the season should reign a lot of you in. We've played well at home to Fulham and lost, OK away at So'ton and drawn and won today when we were very poor. Yes, we won, but surely the fact remains that we played badly, looked nailed on to lose, have got a goal from nowhere and then MK Dons have crumbled? For large parts of today we were poor. I agree with many of you who say this isn't particularly a big deal - though those of you who believe we about to start a 'new era' and think we're about to see some success - I personally don't see it. What I see is us finishing 12th-16th and us not doing too much. However, I think that would be reasonable given it's Di Canio's first season. There are some initial positives from Di Canio, though there are also some things that look a bit ominous. It's anyone's guess how he'll do in the end.

I also think there are some concerns about how much money Di Canio has. The rhetoric coming from the club and the transfer dealings so far implies we aren't going to splash out a huge amount. Not that failing to spend precludes failing, however I think Di Canio may be limited in his expenditure, as to a certain extent both Bruce and MoN were too.

Off to the amway centre with the family gonna be singing the di canio song loud as fook watch oot america!!!
