Not really, Altidore has proven he is perfect in the role of occupying physical defenders, he has the ability to make space and lay off nice passes to players running off him. Given the congestion, this is what we need.

What we need is goals!!

Has proven?

You know all those passes like the inside back heel to colback, where he takes defenders out of the game and makes room for runners. He may not be scoring but is definitely giving us an extra edge in that dept. With Palace sitting back we need someone to make room.

I'm not getting the Larsson slagging either. He's doing well

Well,I would say he is doing 'ok'. He hasn't been blatantly bad but for that one terrible cross. That's the thing with him though - he's supposed to be a good passer. He isn't and the majority of his set pieces are crap. I'd rather Johnson take them.

I've been a critic, but fair f***ing play Mr. Johnson, if he keeps it up I can see him sneaking a goal. 1-0.

I think the defender had hold of Fletcher there like! you know the sly pull pull type of foul. Didn't show it in the replay but it still did look like Fletcher was held back a bit by his right arm/shoulder

just text me mate about this and he said he thought Fletcher could have been pulled. He's 6 rows from front in the South Stand just to the right of the goal as you look at it so had a good view

will be interesting to see a better replay as many here slagged him off thinking he missed the chance yet I was the only one to comment on the fact he was being held back
