I'm pretty confident we will have more tickets released. Charlton will not sell out. We will release more and more tickets as the week goes on. Probably something like 45k. Wish I knew someone with a season card though. Can only make phase 3.

Nah
Even if you’ve spent hundreds this season on game by game basis , been to Wembley , attended the first leg of the play offs you’re still behind anyone that stumped up £40 for a membership & possibly has never been to a game in their life
Walsallgate part 2  So basically the club is taking advantage again by letting people who've potentially not been to that many, if any matches this season (or older) straight into Phase 1 ahead of those who have been to matches and have accounts with history. If we didn't get to Wembley then at least the club made a few £1,000 out of the fans who wanted to take that £40 risk.

Plus they'll also get a shot at the better seats when released whereas I say SC holders should get this ahead of everyone else. As all tickets won't sell in phase 1 then the 'new' members can potentially buy 6 tickets in phase 2 for their family/mates etc and if popular even stopping ST holders getting them. This will leave the scraps for phase 3 which will possibly be the non SC match day attending fans.

Ah well, again I hope those that go to the matches get their tickets one way or another.

I never saw it either. Been in black cats bar 20 games this season on my member number, including last Saturday, and I never got an email about this other member scheme
Aye it was all a fuss about having a number with purchase history for the CAT final as many fans didn't have it as just paid on the door or bought tickets for others etc so didn't have history. Now the club seemed to dismiss that qualifier option off for some £40 backdoor option just like they made the Walsall ticket a queue jumper for the CAT final.

So can you group a non season ticket holder in with a season ticket holder?
You can group a UK/international member scheme holder with a season card holder.

People who haven't purchased either a season card or a 'internstional membership' or 'uk membership' can't buy tickets

At least you had a chance to attend the Walsall game ... you have no chance to pay the £40 premium. Mind out of principle not sure I would. I think it’s profiteering....and I went and paid £25 last Saturday when I could have sat at home and watched it

So basically the club want this sold out ASAP

The game is 10 days away. Phase two starts 6 days before the game and then they have to allow for postage and people will be leaving to go down the day before so its 5 days at best really. No way they want this to drag onto phase 3 and if it does postage would be impossible to organise in time so they have made sure it won't.

Exactly marra, I’d be surprised to find other clubs doing much different if at all.

Am I able to go onto Ticketmaster now and group mine and me dads membership numbers together? How do I go about doing it?
Just click on your profile and select ‘my network’ and add him there.

if Anyone can sort me a couple of tickets in phase 2 there’s a drink in it for them.

Ridiculous that I’ve been to loads of weekend games(4 hour round trip) including last Saturday as well as the long trip to Bristol for the chechatrade semi. and I bought all the live streams available but get shafted by the club like this.

Didn't you join the membership scheme?

What a headfuck, I’m a ST holder, been absolutely inundated with ticket requests which surprised me, until I realised phase 2 allows me to purchase 6 .... oh god.

The very clear difference this time is the club explicitly made it clear that they were taking this approach this time.

You can agree with it or not, you can say someone is deserving of it or not, but the club have said upfront that season ticket holders and members will get priority to Wembley. Part of the membership is priority to Wembley tickets and as soon as a single membership has been sold on that basis then they have to honour it.

Given that
The fact that members get the same rights as ST holders is ridiculous. Should have read between the lines when they were pushing memberships in the way they were but have been able to get tickets for most games including tonight no problem so didn’t see the point even as an exile.

Do people reckon it will go to general sale/phase 3?

There's no way it will get to phase 3. It's designed not to. Your best bet is to organise to get someone to but you tickets in phase 2.

"Membership" owners in the same phase as SC holders with 50/60/70/80/90+ points...it's a fcuking joke.

So, stumping up £300+ year after year, and building up your points the hard miles way really means fuck all when you get to Wembley.

And yes I'm well aware all SC are guaranteed a seat on the 26th with the numbers we've been given, but it just seems that they've taken the puss lumping them in with the SC holders phase.

Everyone in phase 1 is guaranteed a ticket. They've got less than a week to get everything sold, processed and mailed out, so it makes sense to get as many sold as possible. As long as every season ticket holder is guaranteed a seat, which they are, then I don't see a problem.
