On the other hand, would you buy something if you thought the asking price was more than the actual value? Easy this speculating thing. 'Ah you've got loads of money, what's another few million'.

You don't need to like football to be involved in it.
In that case why buy us ...why not buy a club with less problems and easier to get success at?

No but while you own less than 50% in the business there is always the jeopardy that someone else can/will come in and take that controlling interest so I’d be inclined to be in charge of my own destiny and buy that majority.

Nothing stopping someone buying SD & CM 39% out and then buying Sartoris 20% as well.

Sartori strikes me as an odd fish and was brought in by the chuckle brothers as well - wouldn’t trust any of them as far as I could throw them and would take the earliest opportunity to rid myself of them.

I don't for one minute believe Ratcliffe and or Reece are interested in buying/into safc. However if we suspend reality briefly and in a purely hypothetical case, they are both football fans, both from the North (one is actually from Sunderland and an safc supporter). Ratcliffe has wanted to buy a big English club for ages, he bid circa £4B for Chelsea, he's serious. Yes Sunderland has been sailing in the doldrums but it is a big club and its owners were up for selling I'm guessing safc would go for a miniscule fraction of £4B, what possibly £30M?. Ratcliffe would get a massive English club albeit in the Championship but with great potential to get into the Premier League and with it a huge uplift in value. The club then would no doubt be playing at the INEOS SOL etc and be another big sporting platform for the company, he loves all that.

Spot on mate. There's not many really big clubs either fully or partially up for sale ATM. We are and you can get a 39 percent of us for relative peanuts. If any big money football person wanted to get in to it then there aren't many better options out there

Exactly. Might want to look at stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship etc. There is at least 500 million reasons why they might theoritcally fancy trying to buy safc over a PL club. There's also the romantic angle too it all as well waking the sleeping giant from its slumber etc.

Nar no chance unfortunately. Just trying to suggest a case why we aren't actually that daft an idea for bona fide billionaire football fans.

I just hope I can cancel this pre-order ….

Because if CM and SD can’t afford to hold on to their shares you may well get them for a knock down price relative to our ceiling as a club. We also have a chairman/hierarchy who believe in self sufficiency and won’t be asking you to bankroll the whole thing.

If you’re interested in owning or part owning a PL club we are a good opportunity to potentially do that for a very good price.

Was not aware of Ratcliffe moves for Chelsea... Hope that dream has reality woven into it ... the thought of tft and donalds obvious desperation is too scary toxic mix...
